Rev.
Benjamin and Rev. Amanda Pettit are Ordained Elders and Commissioned Evangelists
in the Church of the Nazarene. Graduating from MidAmerica Nazarene University
in August 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, we both attend seminary
online through Wesley Biblical Seminary while continuing in evangelism ministry
through our own ministry as well as with Elaine Pettit Ministries. Benjamin
and Amanda have been in Evangelism Ministry since 2001 preaching several Revivals,
Campmeetings, Youth Camps/Retreats, Chapels, Seminars, Conferences, etc.
Benjamin and Amanda are Elaine Pettit Ministries Board
members doing administrative work. We also share a desire with the family ministry
to preach in city-wide family crusades which would include rotating preaching,
teaching, and music specials.
Through our times of revival we have seen many saved,
sanctified, healed, and delivered. At the Pleasant Ridge Family Campmeeting
(PA) the President of the Camp for 10 years said it was the smoothest campmeeting
he has ever been involved in. He accredited it to the prayer strategy efforts
put forth through our ministry. Here we saw many lives changed as well as new
fires for nation-wide revival rekindled. In a Youth Camp hosted by the Lafayette
Church (KY), we saw God move as most teens gave their lives to the Lord. Before
the week was out, many experienced sanctification. In Oklahoma, a young woman
who cried out to God for great faith was healed of scoliosis. We had the wonderful
experience of being the Youth Directors at the LA District Campmeeting with
Dr. Gene Philips, D. S., and evangelists Dr. James Diehl, G. S., and Rev. Elaine
Pettit. Here we saw many victories to many of those teens who attended the
teen activities regularly. It was obvious to anyone watching the youth that
it was no longer the same youth group it started as. We will be returning to
this Campmeeting for our sixth year in June 2007. At a multi-denomination youth
camp in Pennsylvania we saw teens who had never heard of sanctification not
only come to understand the doctrine, but experience it themselves. Instead
of buying candy at their snack shop, the youth were spending their money on
holiness materials as well as fasting for the first time in their lives and
praying for over an each day for the services! People have been moved to give
in greater ways financially to God, and from all ages and positions in the
church, congregations have found a passion for the restoration of themselves,
the church, and the world for Christ.
Benjamin is currently working on a 3-part book series
called, “The Great Privilege of All Believers,” The Holy Remnant,” and “Two
Gospel Axioms.” We have also written a book (2001) called, "Biblical
Studies of Holiness in the New Testament from a Wesleyan Perspective." The
book consists of studies of holiness, approved by professors, former General
Superintendent Dr. Donald Owens, and other pastors and evangelists around
the country. Many times it has sold out at different gatherings along
with our popular workbook we have created called, “Saved, Sanctified, Saturated.” This
workbook is a great follow-up book explaining holiness as well as giving
the tools necessary to stay in holiness. Our 2nd workbook Amanda has
put together goes with her teaching series called, “Creation, Sin, & Holy
Living.” This series covers topics from a 6-day creation, sin,
witnessing, building on the Rock, and signs/events of the ‘end times.’ We
are both published writers in the Evangelist’s Perspective Magazine;
Ben: “John Wesley and Uncle Bud” –Fall, 2003, Amada: “Our
Holiness Heritage Lives On” – Winter, 2006.
We have been married since August 2001 and have enjoyed
great seasons of evangelism ministry. We are prepared to do revivals, campmeetings,
teen services and revivals, seminars, retreats, and youth camps, revival
follow-up services, etc. To schedule with us, request more information, or
