If you have wondered what it would be like to attend a Waiting School, read
what others have to say about their experience:

Larry & Jerri Niswander-District Advisory Council Board Member-Church of the
Nazarene-Findlay, Ohio:

"My husband and I have attending all three Waiting Schools and the best way
we can describe it is that it is just a little taste of Heaven on earth. We
go anticipating great things from God and we have never come away
disappointed. This is due to the Waiting Schools being bathed in prayer for
several months prior to the event and even during the whole weekend. God has
been so faithful in meeting so many needs of those attending. We have seen
first hand many lives who have been delivered from addictions, people saved,
sanctified and physical and emotional healings as well. We have such a
hunger for hearing God's word preached the way Rev. Elaine Pettit preaches
it on Holiness and Sanctification. She has a passion for lost souls like no
one we have ever met. The whole weekend of Waiting School is to focus on
Christ and to wait on Him. We also enjoy the teachings of Rev. Peter
Lundell and Rev. Benjamin Pettit whom we have come to love and appreciate so
much. We have learned so much through all the workshops and testimonies of
people whose lives have been changed dramatically through Christ. It is a
wonderful weekend of fellowship with other Christians who are there for the
same reasons, and we look forward to every opportunity we can be with our
new brothers and sisters in Christ. "

JoAnn Eckroth-Pastor's Wife-Auburn, Pennsylvania:

"Waiting School is a Spirit filled, Spirit led, life transforming encounter
with the one true and living God. It is a coming together for intense, from
the heart, corporate worship. It is a holy training camp for those who are
seeking the very heart of God and have drawn a line in the side and chosen
God's side. It is an opportunity for those involved in ministry to be
ministered to. It is for those who have a deep deep burden for not only the
souls of their friends and family but for all who reject the Lord and will
spend eternity apart from Him. It is unlike any revival or camp meeting
service I have attended (48 years of two annual camps and fall revivals and
many spring revivals) because almost everyone attending the Waiting School
is in one accord just as those in the upper room who set themselves apart to
pray and seek the face of God."

Daniel Mobley-Federal Agent-Oklahoma City:

"I don't like to waste my time with hollow teachings that appeal to my
selfish desires and then somehow are supposed to bring me to the foot of the
Cross. No, I'm on a quest to be confronted by the Person and work of Christ.
That pursuit was birthed by God in March 1998 in a revival service preached
by Rev. Elaine Pettit. Prior to that meeting I knew that change was
necessary. I just had no idea that I was the one that needed the change.
That is exactly what God did. He changed my heart and sanctified it wholly.
Since then, I've been on the quest to see Jesus.

Naturally, I looked to EPM (Elaine Pettit Ministries) to play a role in that
quest, just as EPM had played a role in the crisis moment of my
consecration. I remember when Elaine first told us about the soon coming
Waiting School and can only imagine the battle that must have ensued in the
"heavenly realms" as it was a battle in the physical realm too. Things
appeared at first glance to be going wrong in our lives, but God was at work
for our good and for His glory.

What is Waiting School? A faith builder! A confrontation with the holiness
of God! Through the teaching of the Word in general sessions and workshops,
it is no wonder that so many report spiritual transformation (salvation and
sanctification) as well as physical healing. The result was fruit that
remains for the glory of the Father. I appreciated not only the exposition
of the Word, but also that the teaching came from the Wesleyan/19th Century
Holiness Movement perspective. There was so much conviction in the
instruction. It was a real encouragement.

As a result of this instruction, I believe in God and His promises! I will
be returning to the Waiting School that I might mature in the faith and
learn how to wait on Him in increasing measure. Plus, I can't wait to see
what God will do next! I want to be present when it happens.

So much prayer surrounded the Waiting School. So many, including myself,
expressed their absolute dependence on God to fulfill His promises to His
people. He was faithful, and no one should be surprised!

Some things are difficult to put into words and Waiting School is no
exception. It is something that you have to experience for yourself. Then it
must be put in the microscope of the Word of God to be tested and approved.
The result? Truth! His Truth! Nothing else will do. Why settle for less."

Christopher Jackson-Department of Defense & District-Licensed Nazarene
Minister-Miamisburg, Ohio

"To fully describe the Waiting School would mean trying to capture how
God moves and reveals Himself through the new-born Christian to the
seasoned believer. There is a dynamic that is incredibly challenging
to fully articulate. However, if one were to try and say what is at
the heart of the Waiting School experience I would say it is the
gathering of like minded souls who have desirous hearts to be unified
in the Holy Spirit, open to the moving of God to the point of
obedience that will enable them to draw closer to God and likewise He
to us. Each Waiting School reveals a characteristic of God as he
draws closer. Each Waiting School manifests another element of the
character of God within us as we draw closer to Him. This results in
each experience building upon the next leading to greater and greater
intimacy with God. It is not only the Waiting School events
themselves that make up the experience, but also the times of waiting
in-between when there is crying out to God and heartfelt calls lifted
up to heaven to see the Spirit of God at full liberty among His
people, within and through me."

Rev. Pastor Peter Trembley-Free Methodist Church-Coudersport, PA:

"Waiting School was a joy for my wife and I. It was a time of great
fellowship, worship, and learning. The main sessions and the workshops were
all anointed.
I am a Pastor in a sister denomination of the Nazarene Church. We have
ministered for almost 20 years and had allowed our experience of
heart-holiness to drift away by carelessness. But at our Family Camp where
Elaine had been the evangelist, the Holy Spirit again took up again His
rightful place on the throne of our hearts. Since that time our "first love"
has been renewed. We know the means of maintaining that experience is by
Prayer (much-prayer) along with the other means of Grace. I sadly admit I
was not a man of prayer. But since this renewed experience, I know, as does
my spouse, that a Matt 6:6 prayer-life is not optional, but required to
remain in victory. The Waiting School events are the support and
encouragement we need to continue to be diligent and find the support of
loving Christian brethren. Is the Waiting School for Christians or
non-Christians? I would have to answer, "Yes". I attended Waiting School 2
& 3, and at each event, souls were "born-again". I recall one was a senior
gentleman who was also baptized that Sunday. Waiting School is a time to
build close spiritual friendships, grow close to the Lord, be with those who
care enough about your soul to tell you the truth, and be refreshed and
encouraged in prayer as a life-style. I know you will be blessed and
challenged if you come."

Diane Lindauer-Administrative Assistant-Plainwell, MI:

"It is difficult to put into words all that has taken place at the three
Waiting School Conferences. I call them conferences for lack of a better
word. They truly have been meetings with God. I have brought friends with
me to two of the three who are from a different denomination. They are also
in awe of the closeness and reality of God's presence in these meetings. I
also must say that the feeling of true unity and "family" is one that I
haven't felt since my childhood days. I can remember services where people
waited on God. Being in those services changed my life and instilled a
hunger for Him that stays with me to this day...I want that for my family as
well."

Cherri Thompson-Administrative Assistant-Xenia, Ohio-Church of the Nazarene:

I have attended all three of the EPM Waiting Schools. Each one has been
special for me. I have received training, instruction, knowledge, and
reproof (from the Holy Spirit). There was a sweet spirit of love, unity,
and anticipation felt at each WS. If a person would like to be a part of a
"God happening," then the WS is the place to go! It is worth all the time,
effort and money spent, and I have high expectations of any future WS!

Rev. Beth Ellenberg-Registered Evangelist-Church of the Nazarene-Lexington,
KY:

"Waiting School is revival-type services, prayer emphasis and teaching, and
seminars that relate to what Christians and non-Christians alike, face
today. For the lost, it is a powerful atmosphere to find God in. For the
saved, it is an encouraging revival of the spirit."

Rev. Peter Migner-Pastor Madison Heights Church of the Nazarene-Virginia:

"Trying to describe Waiting School is as hard as a blind man trying to
describe an Elephant. You just can?t get your hands around it. It?s Spirit
not Flesh, therefore words cannot describe what only a man can experience
first hand. Enjoy my poor words of description. Waiting School is a time
away from life demands in a concentrated season of teaching, preaching,
praying and equipping in holiness and fellowship in the Spirit with the
Saints of God. Waiting School is worship based prayerful anointed ministry
with time to also discuss, reflect and wait on the time of the Father for
His power. It is a fresh encounter with His Presence. Waiting School is
different than revival because you don?t go home, but similar to a retreat
except you advance. Waiting School is Spirit led and leadership enabled for
learning, listening and expressing love to God while receiving His fresh
wind of love in a dry culture."

Friends...We would love to have you join us for Waiting School Four!

For Him,

Elaine Pettit
